Our wedding reception was so fun. We had traditional elements like special dances but we also had things that were specific to Corey & I like the Wishing Tree, Treat Table and Meet the Bridal Party table with pictures and descriptions of each person in our wedding party. The decor was classic black, ivory and of course, sparkly.
Wedding guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres as Misty and Josh sang and played.
The wedding party and family were announced and then Corey & Amy had their first dance while Home by Scott Alan was sung by Vivian Tong (life long friend of Amy). Half way through the song, we had our parents join in on the dance.
I got to share a special Deddy Daughter dance with my dad. It stated with the theme song to Miss America because he has always called me that! We then danced to My Girl.
We danced the night away with friends from all over. A night I had dreamed about for years. Having so many people that we love in one room together was so priceless.
We had the cake cutting. The cake was amazing enough it needed a post of its own.
It was mother's day weekend so we also honored our mothers with a card & brooch and a thank you to our parents. Brooches were used throughout the wedding including on my wedding bouquet :).
Corey and I slipped outside to take this picture. I had seen it done in Manhattan and thought it would be cute to do on little Mooresville Main Street.
This picture is of me with my Paw Gene. It was so special to have him at the wedding. He had been very sick just a month before the wedding and even in hospice care. What a blessing to have both my grandfathers at my wedding!
There was a sparkly photo booth where guests could takes pictures. It was cute to see some of these pop up on facebook just after the wedding.
Guests were given a very special CD's as their wedding favor. Thanks, Dria for all your hard work and to the artists who donated their work!
Corey and I were sent off with sparklers lit all around us.
There are lots of other pictures of the wedding weekend under "Wedding" on the labels to the left. Enjoy!

Dinner was then blessed by my dad, Joe. Neil was the host and invited guests to start their dinner.

Corey also had a special dance with his mom. She had prayed this song for Corey since he was a baby and asked to have it played while they danced. A very special moment!

Wow! Beautiful bride, beautiful couple and an amazing lot of people. Oh, I loved the flip! When you have such amazing group of people in your life, your wedding has to be super amazing, so was mine. My friends had booked one of the beautiful Los Angeles wedding venues for my wedding. And we had great fun at the photo booth.
